We’re excited to announce a new design option at Minnkota Windows: black foil is now available on both the interior and exterior of select window styles!
Black windows have become one of the most sought-after looks in residential design, bringing a bold, modern aesthetic to both new construction and remodeling projects. With our new black interior and exterior foil option, homeowners can carry that striking look from the outside of their home all the way through to the interior.
It’s a simple way to make a statement while enjoying the durability, performance, and low-maintenance benefits of Minnkota Windows.
A Bold Look Inside and Out
For homeowners and builders who love the look of black windows, choosing black on both sides creates a cohesive, high-end appearance. The dark frame provides a strong contrast against light siding, brick, stone, and other exterior materials, while adding a sophisticated finish to interior spaces.
Whether you’re designing a modern farmhouse, contemporary home, or simply looking for a more distinctive window style, black foil offers the flexibility to create a look that feels intentional from every angle.
Our new black interior and exterior option allows homeowners to enjoy:
- A bold, contemporary window aesthetic
- A cohesive look from inside and outside the home
- More design flexibility for new construction and remodeling projects
- The durability and low-maintenance benefits of a foiled finish
- A stylish alternative to traditional white window interiors and exteriors
Available on Select Minnkota Window Styles
Our new black interior and exterior foil option is currently available on select Minnkota Windows products, including:
- 700 Series Hung Windows
- 700 Series Sliders
- 1800 Series Aspekt Windows
At this time, the black interior and exterior foil option is not available on our 190 Series or Euro Series windows. As always, availability may vary by specific configuration, so we encourage dealers and homeowners to contact Minnkota Windows for more information about available options.
Designed for Long-Term Performance
While the look of black windows may be the reason homeowners fall in love with this option, performance matters just as much.
Minnkota Windows are designed and manufactured with the demands of the Upper Midwest in mind. Our foiled window options provide a durable, low-maintenance finish designed to help your windows maintain their appearance through changing seasons and challenging weather conditions.
That means you can get the bold look you want without taking on the ongoing maintenance associated with painted window surfaces.
Why Black Windows Continue to Stand Out
Black windows have become a defining design trend, but their appeal goes beyond what's popular right now. The clean, dramatic look of a black frame can complement a wide range of architectural styles and color palettes.
On the exterior, black windows can create contrast and add visual interest to the home's facade. On the interior, they can help frame outdoor views and create a more defined architectural element within the room.
With black foil on both the interior and exterior, homeowners have even more freedom to create a consistent design throughout their home.
A New Option for Minnkota Dealers
The addition of black interior and exterior foil gives Minnkota dealers another way to meet the growing demand for distinctive window designs.
As homeowners continue to look for ways to personalize their homes, options like black interiors and exteriors allow dealers to offer a look that feels current while still delivering the performance customers expect from Minnkota Windows. For projects where design is just as important as durability, this new option gives homeowners another reason to consider Minnkota.
